Branding and Visual Identity (Print and Digital)

As a versatile designer, I executed production-ready artwork and marketing collateral for two major departments within San Diego State University. My responsibilities included creating a high volume of digital and print deliverables—such as brochures, posters, and informational guides—all while strictly adhering to institutional brand guidelines and technical specifications. I managed the full lifecycle of design projects, from initial content collaboration with faculty and staff stakeholders to final execution using the Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring rigorous documentation, tracking, and on-time delivery for public-facing communications and key events.

  • I was responsible for executing production-ready artwork, creating high-impact marketing collateral, print deliverables (programs, posters), and digital assets for high-volume departmental needs. I managed a busy project queue, tracking status and deadlines to guarantee efficient, on-time delivery. Collaborating with internal stakeholders like career counselors and staff, I ensured all communication materials strictly adhered to institutional brand guidelines and messaging. I leveraged Adobe Creative Cloud expertise to finalize all graphic assets and supported successful execution of career events and workshops.

AMP & Career Services

Project Goal & Challenge

The main challenge was managing a high volume of recurring project requests while maintaining strict institutional brand adherence across diverse print and digital channels. The goal was to establish and execute a rapid, high-quality design pipeline for essential student resources and event promotion. This required a focus on production readiness to ensure flawless execution across all final output formats, from large posters to detailed guides.

Design Rationale and Deliverables

I executed a wide range of production-ready artwork, which included table tent cards, informational maps, large format posters for events, and complex instructional guides for students. My design rationale emphasized clarity and usability, ensuring that critical information was accessible and immediately scannable. By utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and students, I ensured that every deliverable met precise technical specifications for print and digital media, supporting the successful execution of multiple career events.

Brightside

Project Goal & Challenge

The core challenge was addressing food insecurity by increasing the availability, accessibility, and affordability of fresh produce in underserved communities. My design goal was to increase awareness of the Brightside program, drive traffic to resources, and simplify complex health information through highly engaging, public-facing materials. This required developing a cohesive visual strategy that could perform across multiple channels, from print point-of-sale materials to digital social assets.

Design Rationale and Deliverables

I designed a suite of strategic marketing materials, including informative Produce Info Cards for gas station point-of-sale, social media graphics, and professional PowerPoint templates. For the Info Cards (e.g., Apple, Avocado, Pepper ), I utilized a clean, high-contrast layout and simplified iconography to effectively communicate seasonal availability and key health benefits to a broad, diverse audience . The design emphasized clarity and accessibility, ensuring complex nutritional facts were instantly digestible, thereby supporting the project's educational and outreach objectives.

Sage

Project Goal & Challenge

The Sage Project establishes a partnership between the university and a local community, granting the community access to instructors and researchers at the cutting edge of their fields plus hundreds of students with the drive and fresh perspective to offer innovative solutions to the community’s pressing problems.

Design Rationale and Deliverables

I developed Sage Flyers that visually mapped the mutual benefits of the partnerships, using a central organic icon to represent the high-need community projects being supported. The designs strategically employed a clean layout and professional icons to clearly present the project's assets, such as the involvement of university students, faculty, and research. The final deliverables were designed to be both informative and persuasive, showcasing the project's yearly impact and successful outcomes to drive future collaborations
