Product Design: Children's Activity Book
This project focused on the design and production of a short activity book intended for children under 10 years old. As a product design initiative, the goal was to create an engaging and visually appealing experience for the young target audience, incorporating custom illustrations and interactive elements.

The visual system, specifically the iconography, was developed to be highly relatable to the domestic life of the target audience.
Concept: The icons were designed based on animals most commonly found in people's homes, providing instant familiarity for children.
Application: These stylized animal icons are integrated throughout the book and supporting materials, such as the accompanying sticker sheets, to enhance the playful and approachable nature of the product.

The layout design focused on creating a clean, highly legible, and fun experience for the target audience of children under 10. We selected a friendly and inviting typeface for body copy and headings, prioritizing large point sizes and generous leading to aid early readers. The layout uses a structured grid system to keep content organized while incorporating dynamic visual elements (like speech bubbles, background shapes, and floating icons) to maintain a playful, non-intimidating feel on every page.

The project included designing supporting product elements to enhance the child's experience and the book's retail appeal. Sticker sheets featuring the custom animal icons were developed as an interactive component. The overall packaging concept and mockups demonstrate how the brand maintains a cohesive, colorful identity from the cover design to any supporting merchandise, ensuring a unified and marketable product line.
